Spring Inspiration with Asos

Cada vez mais as pessoas se sentem atraídas pelo shopping online, seja pela comodidade de estar sentada no seu sofá e encomendar as mais variadas peças sem sair do sítio mas também pela variedade que existe e a possibilidade de comprar uma peça diferente a um preço acessível sem correr (tanto) o risco de entrar num café e ter 5 pessoas com um vestido ou top igual.
Desde as lojas normais como a Zara e a Blanco, por exemplo, que têm também shopping online, à Topshop que, já que não temos em Portugal, pelo menos podemos sempre encomendar e receber as peças em casa, às lojas que são exclusivamente online, a quantidade existente é inacreditável, desde peças aos preços mais acessíveis às grandes marcas.
Apesar de não comprar muito online já que gosto demasiado de ir às lojas e ver a roupa ao vivo, experimentar, etc..., no fundo viver a experiência de comprar, ter a satisfação de sair de uma loja com os sacos na mão, se é que me entendem, um dos meus sites de shopping online preferidos é, sem dúvida, a Asos.
É daquelas lojas online que tem imensa variedade de peças, para vários gostos e vários budgets, do mais barato ao mais caro e que, pelo menos uma vez por semana, vou ver o que há de novo e acabo sempre por ficar com "água na boca" e vontade de abrir os cordões à bolsa e esse sentimento voltou mal vi o novo lookbook.
É um lookbook que abrange várias das tendências desta Primavera, desde o look desportivo ao total print, passando pelos tons pastéis e estampados digitais.

More and more people are now "attracted" by the online shopping movement, whether it is for the commodity of just sitting in the couch and order as many pieces of clothing as you wish without ever leaving it but also for the variety of things it offers and the possibility to buy something different at an accessible price without the risk (or with less risk) of entering a coffee shop or restaurant and having 5 people wearing the same dress or top.
From the so called normal stores like Zara and H&M, for example, that also have online shopping, to Topshop that we unfortunately don't have here in Portugal but at least with the online "store" we can order anything we want and receive it at home a few days later, to the exclusive online shopping, the amount of sites are unbelievable, from pieces with accessible prices to the bigger brands.
Although I don't buy that much online since I enjoy to much going to the stores and seeing the clothing live, and trie it on, etc..., basically living the shopping experience to the full, having that satisfaction of leaving a store with the bags on my hand, if you know what I mean, one of my favourite online shopping sites is, without a doubt, Asos.
It's one of those online stores that has a great variety of clothes, shoes and accessories to choose from, for many tastes and budgets, from the most cheap to the more expensive, and that, at least once a week, I'll go see what they have new and always end up with my mouth watering for something and that feeling came back as soon as I saw their new Spring lookbook.
It's a lookbook that travels through many of Spring's main trends, from the sporty look to total print, passing through pastel tones and digital prints.

Karl Lagerfeld . The Multitask Man

Será que há alguma coisa que este senhor não faça? Já desenha colecções e colecções sem parar, para a Chanel, Fendi, etc..., cria linhas de maquilhagem, fotografa as suas próprias campanhas entre outras e editoriais para as mais conceituadas revistas de moda e, agora, criou mais uma nova linha, mais económica, Karl by Karl Lagerfeld, além de se tornar também DJ no video de promoção da linha.
No passado dia 25 de Janeiro a tão esperada colecção ficou à venda no Net a Porter, desde luvas e colarinhos a coletes de pele, numa paleta de cores que variam do preto e branco, prateado ao burgundy e rosa, muito ao estilo glam rock de Lagerfeld. E, para quem quer ter alguma destas peças em casa é melhor que se apresse pois já estão a esgotar.
Para mim, apesar de ser a chamada colecção mais económica, continua a ser "out of budget" infelizmente, mas seleccionei de qualquer forma algumas das minhas peças favoritas. Quais seriam as vossas escolhas?

Is there anything this man doesn't do? I already designs collections non stop, for Chanel, Fendi, etc..., creates beauty lines, photographs his own campaigns among others and editorials for the most renowned fashion magazines and, now, he has created another new line, a lower priced one, Karl by Karl Lagerfeld, and also turned into a DJ on the video to promote the line.
On the past January 25th the long awaited collection went on sale on Net a Porter, from gloves and collars to leather vests, on a colour pallet that ranges between black and white, silver, burgundy and pink, with a very Lagerfeld's glam rock signature style. And, for those who want any of these pieces at home, in your closet, you have to hurry up because it's already selling out.
For me, although it's called an economic line, it's still a little out of budget unfortunately, but nevertheless I selected a few of my favourite pieces. What would be your choices?

Haute Couture even in the Streets

Chegam hoje ao fim os desfiles de Alta Costura em Paris que se antecipam às grandes Semanas da Moda de Ready To Wear, que começam no inicio de Fevereiro com a New York Fashion Week de dia 9 a 16.
Como sempre os desfiles não se dão só dentro dos recintos mas também fora deles, na ruas de Paris, neste caso.
Trendsetters e personalidades da moda entre outros juntam-se em Paris para assistir aos mais exclusivos desfiles enquanto se deixam fotografar na últimas tendências de streetstyle, umas mais arriscadas que outras.
Eu espero sempre, com grande curiosidade, por estas alturas do ano, em que todos saem à rua como se fosse a última oportunidade de mostrarem o que valem e do que são capazes através dos seus looks, pensados ao pormenor.
Acho que às vezes faltava um pouco dessa atitude no dia a dia de todos, não em exagero claro, ninguém se veste todos os dias como se fosse para uma Fashion Week, mas um pouco de cuidado nunca fez mal a ninguém, e por vezes olho à minha volta e  vejo um grande desmazelo na nossa sociedade.
Espero que se inspirem.

 Today is the last day of the Haute Couture runway shows in Paris which anticipate the major RTW Fashion Weeks, that will start at the beginning of February with the New York Fashion Week (9 to 16).
As always the runway shows aren't just on the inside but also outside, on the streets of Paris, in this case.
Trendsetters and fashion personalities among others are reunited in Paris to watch the most exclusive fashion shows while being photographed with the latest streetstyle trends, ones bolder than others.
I always look forward, with curiosity, for these times of the year, where everyone goes out like it's their last chance to show what they're worth and capable of through their looks ans outfits, thought to the most tiny detail.
I think sometimes that  attitude is lacking on everyone's day to day routine, not on an exaggerated way of course, no one dresses every day like they were going to a Fashion Week, but a little care never hurts, and sometimes I look around and I see such carelessness and sloppiness in our society.

A W Magazine junta Cara Delevingne, Jourdan Dunn, Lily Donaldson e Nyasha Matonhodze num editorial com alguns dos melhores looks das colecções de Primavera para a edição de Janeiro. Emma Summerton fotografa as modelos em looks compostos de marcas como YSL, Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuiton e Balenciaga, entre outros, escolhidos a dedo pelo editor de moda Edward Enninful.
