Karl Lagerfeld não pára de surpreender, e a sua ultima coleção de Resort 2013 para a Chanel está a dar que falar.
Em pleno Palácio de Versailles, esta Segunda-feira, dia 14, modelos uma atrás da outra, com bobs que iam do preto ao rosa claro e um minúsculo símbolo da marca na cara como um pequeno sinal, desfilaram as novas criações de Chanel.
Com vísivel inspiração no século 18, Lagerfeld trouxe-nos uma Marie Antoinette moderna, com as bainhas dos vestidos de gala subidas, creepers e um ligeiro toque rock&roll.

Set in the Versailles Palace, this Monday the 14th, models one after the other, with a little logo of the label, the double-C as a beauty mark, walked the new creations of Chanel.
With a clear inspiration on the 18th century, Lagerfeld brought us a modern day Marie Antoinette, with ball gowns with very short hemlines, creepers and a slight rock&roll vibe to them.

Além do "Little Black Dress", outra das icónicas criações da Chanel é o "Little Black Jacket", e é este último que está a ser agora imortalizado numa exposição online (e também exposição ao vivo em Tóquio), onde mais de 100 celebridades da moda, música, cinema como Sarah Jessica Parker, Elle e Dakota Fanning, Jane Birkin e Anna Wintour se deixaram fotografar a usar o clássico casaco preto da Chanel, cada um à sua maneira. Uns num estilo mais clássico, outros num estilo mais rocker ou até mais artístico.
Este projecto do multifacetado Karl Lagerfeld em colaboração com Carine Roitfeld vai também estar disponível em livro a partir de Abril, e depois de ver estas fotos até eu fiquei com vontade de o juntar à minha colecção.

Besides the "Little Black Dress", another of Chanel's most iconic creations is the "Little Black Jacket", and this last is now being immortalized on a "e-exhibition" (and also on a live exhibition in Tokyo), where more than a 100 celebrities from fashion, cinema and music like Sarah Jessica Parker, Elle and Dakota Fanning, Jane Birkin and Anna Wintour let themselves be photographed wearing the classic Chanel black jacket, each one wearing it their own unique way. Some in a more classic style, others in a rocker vibe or even in a more artistic way.
This project by the multi-task man himself, Mr Karl Lagerfeld and styled by the one and only Carine Roitfeld was also compiled into a book that is coming on sale in April, and I have to say after seeing the photos even I am eager to add it to my collection.

Já desenha colecções e colecções sem parar, para a Chanel, Fendi, etc..., cria linhas de maquilhagem, fotografa as suas próprias campanhas entre outras e editoriais para as mais conceituadas revistas de moda e, agora, criou mais uma nova linha, mais económica, Karl by Karl Lagerfeld, além de se tornar também DJ no video de promoção da linha. No passado dia 25 de Janeiro a tão esperada colecção ficou à venda no Net a Porter, desde luvas e colarinhos a coletes de pele, numa paleta de cores que variam do preto e branco, prateado ao burgundy e rosa, muito ao estilo glam rock de Lagerfeld. E, para quem quer ter alguma destas peças em casa é melhor que se apresse pois já estão a esgotar. Para mim, apesar de ser a chamada colecção mais económica, continua a ser "out of budget" infelizmente, mas seleccionei de qualquer forma algumas das minhas peças favoritas. Quais seriam as vossas escolhas?

I already designs collections non stop, for Chanel, Fendi, etc..., creates beauty lines, photographs his own campaigns among others and editorials for the most renowned fashion magazines and, now, he has created another new line, a lower priced one, Karl by Karl Lagerfeld, and also turned into a DJ on the video to promote the line.
On the past January 25th the long awaited collection went on sale on Net a Porter, from gloves and collars to leather vests, on a colour pallet that ranges between black and white, silver, burgundy and pink, with a very Lagerfeld's glam rock signature style. And, for those who want any of these pieces at home, in your closet, you have to hurry up because it's already selling out.
For me, although it's called an economic line, it's still a little out of budget unfortunately, but nevertheless I selected a few of my favourite pieces. What would be your choices?
