Style Crush . Gala González and Mango

Neste post de mais uma das minhas "Style Crush" junto dois em um. Além de falar e mostrar alguns dos meus looks preferidos da blogger espanhola Gala González, mostro~vos também a colecção especial que assinou para a Mango Touch, a marca exclusiva de acessórios e calçado da Mango.
Gala González é uma blogger espanhola residente em Londres que trabalha como stylist e directora criativa freelancer para várias publicações e é presença frequente em todas grandes semanas da moda.
A colecção estará disponível a partir de 8 de Novembro na Mango online, até lá deixo-vos com algumas imagens da colecção e o vídeo protagonizado pela mesma.

On this post about another one of my "Style Crush" I'm talking about two things in one. Besidesd talking and shwing you some of my favourite looks from the spanish blogger Gala González, I'm also going to show you the new capsule collection that she signed for Mango Touch, the exclusive accessories and shoe brand from Mango.
Gala González is a spanish blogger living in London who works as a freelance stylist and creative director for several publications as well as a frequent presence on all the major fashion weeks.
The collection is available at November 8 on Mango online, until then I'm sharing here some of the images from the collection and the video featuring the top blogger.

Todas as atenções do mundo da moda estão neste momento centradas em Nova Iorque, na Fashion Week.

Muitos foram os que viajaram para esta cidade cosmopolita nos últimos dias para assistirem aos desfiles e novas coleções de novos talentos e de consagrados designers e marcas.

No meio de todos as novas coleções, a marca Lacoste sobressai mais uma vez sob a direção do português Felipe Oliveira Baptista.

No 80 aniversário da marca, o designer apresenta-nos uma coleção que se destaca pela sua paleta de cor que vai do branco puro a um azul cobalto e vermelho intensos, e pelo uso da iconografia Lacoste em padrões abstratos de raquetes, bolas de ténis, polos dobrados, e até mesmo o emblema do crocodilo surge repetidamente, em relevo, num minivestido em pele.

Felipe Oliveira Baptista continua a reinventar a lendária marca desportiva, tornando-a mais contemporânea, elevando-a de apenas roupa de “court de ténis” para um estilo sport-chic que promete trazer ainda muitas surpresas.

Right now all the attentions of the fashion world are focused in New York, on the Fashion Week.
Many were the ones who travelled to this cosmopolitan city in the last few days to attend the shows and see the new collections of young talents and renowned designers and labels.
In the midst of all the collections, the brand Lacoste stands out once again under the direction of the Portuguese designer, Felipe Oliveira Baptista.

On the brand's 80th anniversary, the designer presents us a collection that is distinctive in its colour palette that goes from a pure white to an intense cobalt blue and red, and in the use of Lacoste's iconography in abstract patterns of rackets, tennis balls, folded polo shirts, and even the trademark alligator appears repeatedly embossed in a leather mini dress.

Felipe Oliveira Baptista continues to reinvent the legendary sports label, making it more contemporary, elevating it from mere courtwear to a sport-chic style that promises to bring a lot of surprises.

O rumor que tanto se fazia ouvir estes últimos tempos confirma-se.
Maison Martin Margiela é a nova colaboração da H&M, desta forma a marca sueca entra em território avant-garde.
A Maison Martin Margiela é conhecida pela sua irreverência, moda conceptual, desconstrução de peças e formas arquitectónicas, resta ver como esta estética se irá traduzir numa coleção mais jovem, mainstream e, claro, a um preço mais acessível.

The rumour that was all over the internet is confirmed.
Maison Martin Margiela is the new collaboration for H&M, this way the swedish retailer enters in an avant-guarde territory.
Maison Martin Margiela is known for its edginess,conceptual fashion, some deconstruction and architectural shapes, now we just have to wait to see how this aesthetic will translate in a younger, more mainstream and, of course, more accessible collection.

Tavi . Fashion Muse

The whole world must have already heard about Tavi Gevinson, one of the most influential people in the fashion world and, also, one of the youngest ever blogger and trendsetter.
A girl with only 15 years old that seems to have come from a different era, with an aesthetic clearly influenced by passed decades like the 60's, and who pushes the boundaries of fashion, shaping them to her own tastes.
Tavi learned to question herself about the world, to create her own universe based on her ideas, tastes and experiences, much like many children and teenagers do, but she went further by sharing that universe with whoever wanted to see, and the result was thousands of followers.
When she was 11 she started a blog that turned out to be a fashion manual for many. With just 13 she was invited to the New York Fashion Week and, nowadays, four years later teens and grown ups from all over the world follow her blog the stylerookie.com and her online magazine rookiemag.com attentively. And, the list of fashion people wanting to work with her is immense.
Her last collaboration, with Wren, resulted on an ethereal and dreamy video, wih a 60's inspiration and something that takes us to the movie "The Virgin Suicides", both loved by the young blogger. In the video, Tavi shows up singing the music "Beware of Young Girls" by Dory Previn while she appears with different pieces of the brand from the fall 2012 collection. A perfect combination.
What more is there to come from this young fashion muse?
