Hoje passamos da moda ao cinema, mas neste caso as duas "artes" unem-se para dar vida ao filme de Joe Wright, Anna Karenina, baseado no romance de Tolstoi.
Depois de "Pride and Prejudice" e "Atonement", Keira Knightley volta como musa de mais um filme deste director, no papel de Anna, juntamente com Jude Law no papel de Karenin, o seu marido frio e distante e Aaron Taylor Johnson ( do filme Savages) como o irresistível amante de Anna Karenina, Conde Vronsky.
Na minha opinião uma das melhores coisas no filme é a forma como é apresentada a história, como num teatro do séc.XIX, em que tudo gira em cima e à volta do palco, incluindo uma corrida de cavalos, dando uma nova abordagem à aclamada obra de Tolstoi.
O filme "Anna Karenina" é mais que tudo uma crítica à sociedade russa do séc. XIX com a sua falsidade e regras que favoreciam apenas os homens e uma demonstração do amor nas suas várias formas, apaixonante e até destrutivo, inocente, frio e até "imoral".
Keira Knightley surge mais uma vez num papel brilhante, interpretando na perfeição Anna nas suas diferentes facetas, mãe dedicada, apaixonada, paranóica, depressiva.
Um filme que vale tanto pelo guarda-roupa como pela história, pela fotografia, pela excelente representação e até música.

After "Pride and Prejudice" and "Atonement", Keira Knightley is once again the muse of another Wright's movies, starring as Anna, alongside with Jude Law as Karenin, her cold and detached husband and Aaron Taylor Johnson (from "Savages") as her irresistible lover, Count Vronsky.
In my opinion one of the best things about the movie is the way the story his presented, like it was set in a 19th century theatre, where everything happens on and around the stage, including even a horse race, giving a new approach to the acclaimed Tolstoi masterpiece.
The movie Anna Karenina is, most of all, a critique of the Russian society of the 19th century with all their falsity, rules and laws that favoured only men and a representation of love in its many forms, passionate and even destructive, innocent and sweet, cold and distant and even amoral at times.
Keira Knightley returns in a brilliant role, interpreting with perfection the character of Anna Karenina in all her different sides, caring mother, madly in love, paranoid, depressive.
A movie that's worth seeing as much for the costumes as for the story, the photography, the excellent representation and even for the music itself.
