November Wishlist

 Novembro acabou de começar e eu já ando a pensar nas peças em que gostaria de investir para este Outono-Inverno, aproveitando que acabei de receber o meu primeiro salário de sempre (uma rapariga tem que festejar, certo? :)).
Por isso mesmo hoje deixo-vos com a minha wishlist deste mês. Sei que não vou trazer todas as peças para casa, não vamos exagerar, mas uma ou outra gostava de poder dizer daqui a uns tempos que já estão a viver comigo.
E vocês, alguma peça que estejam a desejar secretamente, ou não tão secretamente?

Deêm ideias, que quando chegar aos 400 seguidores (só faltam 10) quero oferecer a um seguidor uma prendinha de Natal adiantada! :)


November has just begun and I'm already thinking about the pieces that I would like to invest in for this Fall-Winter, taking advantage that I just got my first ever salary (a girl has to celebrate, right? :)).
Therefore today I'm sharing with you this month's wishlist. I know I won't bring all of these babies home with me, let's not exxagerate, but one thing or another I would like to say in a few days that they are already living with me.

Maison Martin Margiela for H&M . The campaign is revealed

Antes de mais obrigada a todos pelo apoio nesta nova fase, fico mesmo contente de ver o vosso feedback.
E passando ao post, hoje trago-vos as imagens da campanha da colaboração mais esperada do ano, pelo menos por mim, Maison Martin Margiela para a H&M.
Sei que muitos de vocês já devem estar cansados de ver estas imagens mas eu não podia deixar de as partilhar aqui.
Esta colecção, que anda a deixar todos os entusiastas de moda na expectativa, é como uma re-edição de algumas das peças icónicas do arquivo da maison, chegando assim a uma nova audiência, tornando o design de Margiela mais acessível.
Esta campanha foi fotografada por Sam Taylor-Johnson nas ruas de Paris e as peças estarão disponíveis nas lojas seleccionadas a partir de dia 15 de Novembro. Aqui em Portugal, como já é habitual só chegará à H&M do Chiado, parece que vou ter que fazer uma visita a Lisboa nessa altura.

First of all thanks to all of you for your support in this new phase, I'm so glad to see your feedback.
And moving on to the post, today I bring you the campaign photos of the most awaited collaboration of the year, at least by me, Maison Martin Margiela for H&M.
I know that many of you must already be tired of seeing these images but I  couldn't let it pass without sharing it here.
This collection, that has been keeping every fashion enthusiast on the lookout, is like a re-edition of some of the most archive pieces of the maison, now reaching to a new audience, and consequently making the Margiela designs more accessible.
This campaign was shot by Sam Taylor-Johnson on the streets of Paris and the pieces will be available on the selected stores on November 15 . I envy those of you who will have it in your city.

O rumor que tanto se fazia ouvir estes últimos tempos confirma-se.
Maison Martin Margiela é a nova colaboração da H&M, desta forma a marca sueca entra em território avant-garde.
A Maison Martin Margiela é conhecida pela sua irreverência, moda conceptual, desconstrução de peças e formas arquitectónicas, resta ver como esta estética se irá traduzir numa coleção mais jovem, mainstream e, claro, a um preço mais acessível.

The rumour that was all over the internet is confirmed.
Maison Martin Margiela is the new collaboration for H&M, this way the swedish retailer enters in an avant-guarde territory.
Maison Martin Margiela is known for its edginess,conceptual fashion, some deconstruction and architectural shapes, now we just have to wait to see how this aesthetic will translate in a younger, more mainstream and, of course, more accessible collection.

Climate Changes

Estas fotos já foram tiradas à algum tempo mas resolvi partilhá-las aqui hoje.
Sei que todos acabamos por falar no mesmo, blogs de várias partes do mundo tocam no mesmo assunto, o tempo anda um bocado incerto, um dia apetece ir directamente para a praia, no dia seguinte já chove e sente-se a necessidade de um casaco um pouco mais quente.
As estações começam a  perder-se, o Outono e a Primavera já quase não existiram e o tempo varia bruscamente entre o Verão e o Inverno, o que torna difícil por vezes a escolha do que vestir. Espero que em breve o tempo se estabilize, e que venha o Verão com toda a sua força.
E vocês, o que pensam sobre estas mudanças bruscas de temperatura?

These photos were taken a while ago but I decided to share them with you today.
I know everyone is talking about the same, blogs from many parts of the world all talk about this subject, the weather is a little uncertain, one day it's the hottest day and you only feel like going to the beach, and the next it's raining and we feel the need to wear a warmer jacket.
We are beginning to lose the seasons, Fall and Spring barely existed this time and the weather abruptly changes between Summer and Winter, which turns it difficult sometimes to know what to wear. I hope that the weather stabilizes soon, and that the Summer comes to stay with all its glory.

Anna Dello Russo for H&M

Muitos já devem ter ouvido falar da mais recente colaboração da H&M, mais uma que promete deixar todos em alvoroço, mas eu não podia deixar passar sem comentar por aqui.
A nova colaboradora é, nada mais nada menos, que Anna Dello Russo, editora da Vogue Japonesa e inquestionável ícone de moda. Goste ou não se goste do estilo pessoal dela, uma coisa é certa, é uma verdadeira apaixonada da moda e tem um estilo próprio extravagante e muito característico e não tem medo de arriscar, marcando uma posição no mundo da moda.
A colecção que preparou para a marca é de acessórios, sendo que, como a própria diz, estes são uma parte essencial de um look, podendo potenciá-lo ao máximo ou, pelo contrário, arruiná-lo.
As peças que criou são únicas e extravagantes,  e incluem jóias, sapatos, óculos de sol e carteiras, mesmo ao estilo ornamental de Anna Dello Russo,  na sua maioria, douradas, brilhantes, com pormenores turquesa e outras pedras incrustadas.
A colecção estará à venda em 140 lojas no mundo inteiro (pena que estas colecções nunca estão numa loja perto de mim), a partir de 4 de Outubro.


Many of you must have already heard about the newest H&M collaboration, another one that promises to blow everyone's minds, but I couldn't help to comment about it here.
The new collaborator is, none other than, Anna Dello Russo, Japanese Vogue fashion director and indisputable fashion icon. Whether you like her personal style or not, one thing is certain, she has a real passion for fashion and has an unique, extravagant style that is so characteristic of her and, most of all, she isn't afraid to experiment, making a statement in the fashion world.
She prepared for the brand an exquisite accessories collection, being that, as she says, they are an essential part of an outfit, capable of bringing it to life or destroying it.
The pieces she created are precious, glamorous and extravagant, in which are included jewellery, shoes, sunglasses and bags, true to Anna Dello Russo's ornamental style, mostly gold, shiny, with turquoise details and other gemstones.
The collection will be available in 140 store worldwide (it's a shame that these collection are never in a store near me), on October 4.

Hoje o post é "light" e à base de fotos (estas são de quando estive pelo Algarve, com uma das minhas saias preferidas do momento), já que ando com falta de inspiração para longos textos, deve ser do tempo de Inverno que parece ter voltado para ficar.
Mas enquanto volta o Inverno, eu já me ando a preparar para a Primavera/Verão e a actualizar o meu armário e a pensar nas 1001 combinações que posso fazer com as novas peças. Ir à Zara e não comprar nada está definitivamente a tornar-se um desafio devo dizer. Alguém mais se sente como eu?

Today it's a "light" post and mostly about the photos (these were taken when I was in Algarve, with one of my favourite skirts right now), since I'm a lacking a little inspiration for long writings, it must be because of the Winter time that seems to be back to stay.
But while outside we're back in Winter, I'm already getting ready for Spring/Summer and uptading my wardrobe and thinking about the 1001 combinations I can do with my new pieces. Going to Zara and getting out without buying anything is definitely becoming more of a challenge I have to say. Who else feels like me?

Ready to hit the Red Carpet in H&M?

A H&M não pára de surpreender, sendo, na minha opinião, das melhores marcas "low cost", juntamente com a Zara, a sua nova coleção sustentável é composta de vestidos deslumbrantes prontos para uma red carpet, ou para quem não tem red carpets a não ser no quarto como eu, para uma saída à noite mais arranjada ou até para um casamento ou algum evento do género.
Além de ter peças lindas e acessíveis, tem o cuidado de ser também eco-friendly, o que não é novidade já que a H&M é a empresa nº1 na utilização de algodão orgânico.
É nestas alturas que eu gostava de ter ou um casamento, ou uma grande festa de gala para ter uma desculpa para comprar algum destes vestidos.


H&M keeps on surprising, being, in my humble opinion, one of the best "low cost" labels, alongside with Zara, it's new sustainable collection includes stunning dresses that are ready for the red carpet, or for those who don't have a red carpet aside from in their bedroom like me, for a evening out or even a wedding or some fancier event.
Besides having beautiful and affordable pieces, they are also eco-friendly, which comes as no surprise since H&M is the number 1 user of organic cotton.
It's in times like these that I wish I had a wedding, or some big fancy party to have an excuse to buy some of these dresses.

Este é um post curto, só mesmo para actualizar.
Antes de mais desculpem a ausência, fui passar uns dias ao Algarve, a Páscoa e o meu aniversário, num hotel muito bom à beira rio, perto de Portimão. Pois é, exactamente no domingo de Páscoa fiz 24 anos, até custa acreditar. Por isso, não havia melhor altura do que esta para mudar um bocadinho de ambiente, nem que seja ao ir um pouco mais para sul.
Tanto pensei que estava mau tempo que nem uma t-shirt levei (mas recebi de prenda depois), mas acabei por levar um biquíni só para prevenir, e ainda bem! Dia de aniversário passado ao sol na piscina, nada mal.
Quanto ao aniversário, e à mudança de idade em si, sinto-me exactamente na mesma claro, ainda há tanto para concretizar, para viver, conhecer...
Espero que este ano traga muitas surpresas (boas) e mudanças, vamos ver se alguns dos meus desejos do inicio de ano que partilhei aqui se concretizam.


This is a really short post, just an update.
Sorry for the absence here, I was in Algarve for a few days, for Easter and my birthday, in a beautiful hotel by the river. That's right, exactly on Easter Sunday I turned 24, it's a little hard to believe. So, there was no better time than that to change sceneries for a while, even if it was only a little bit to the south of the country.
I was so convinced that we were going to get crappy weather there that I didn't even pack a t-shirt or top (but I got two as gifts later), but I packed a bikini just in case, and good thinking! Birthday afternoon spent in the pool sunbathing, not bad at all.
As for the birthday, and change of age, I feel exactly the same of course, there's still so much to accomplish, to see, to live...
I hope this year brings many surprises (good ones) and changes, let's see if some of my wishes from the beginning of the year that I talked here come true.

A Primavera chegou ontem, finalmente, e com ela chegou a altura de começar a tirar a roupa mais fresca para fora de novo, reutilizar algumas peças e pensar em novas para adquirir.
Por isso, decidi partilhar convosco algumas peças que eu considero essenciais para a Primavera deste ano.

Pois é, depois de Versace chegou a vez de Marni se tornar mais acessível através da nova colaboração com a H&M.
Mais um grande motivo para os amantes de moda invadirem as lojas em busca da "designer piece" perfeita e bem mais económica.
Dia 8 de Março de 2012, apontem nas vossas agendas, a colecção exclusiva da Marni vai estar à venda em cerca de 260 lojas da H&M no mundo inteiro.
A colecção irá trazer-nos os estampados e cores típicas da marca, misturando padrões tribais com gráficos Bauhaus e dando um toque desportivo às peças.
Eu posso dizer que estou curiosa para ver o que vai resultar desta colaboração e vocês?


That's right, after Versace it's time for Marni to become more accessible for a wider audience through their new collaboration with H&M.
Another big reason for the fashion lovers throughout the world to invade the store on the hoping of getting a budget designer piece.
On March 8, 2012, save it on your calendars,  the exclusive Marni collection will be available in about 260 H&M stores worldwide.
This collection will bring us the signature Marni prints and colours, mixing tribal motifs with Bauhaus graphics while adding a sporty touch to the pieces.
All I can say is that I'm anxious to see what will come with this collaboration and what about you?
