Lâncome Rouge in Love

Hoje venho aqui falar-vos do baton Rouge in Love da Lâncome.
Aproveitando a minha passagem pela Free Shop do aeroporto quando fui de férias não resisti a acrescentar mais um baton à minha colecção, o escolhido foi o Rouge in Love da Lâncome na cor 340B (coral) e, devo dizer que desde aí não consigo usar outro.
O que o torna especial? Uma gama de cores írresistível, duração de 6h e o facto de deixar os lábios suaves e hidratados.
Eu estava habituada a usar batons de marcas "low-cost" e de facto a diferença é notável. Com o Rouge in Love, a cor dura muito mais tempo, não sendo preciso retocar mal se bebe ou come alguma coisa, além de não deixar os lábios ficarem secos nem com as terríveis marcas de contorno ao fim de algum tempo.

Today I'm here to talk to you about Lâncome's lipstick Rouge in Love.
While I was waiting for my plane to arrive for my vacations, I took the opportunity to go to the airport's free shop and I couldn't resist adding a new lipstick to my collection, the chosen was Lâncome's Rouge in Love in coral (colour 340B) and, I have to say since then I can't use another one.
What makes it special? A wide range of irresistible colors, 6 hours duration and the fact that it makes the lips softer and hydrated.
I was used to use lipsticks from "low cost" brands and indees the difference is remarkable. With Rouge in Love, the color lasts longer, we don't need to retouch it all the time after drinking or eating, and besides, it doesn't make your lips dry.

Para começar o mês de Agosto da melhor forma nada melhor que introduzir uma nova "Style Crush" aqui no blog.
Desta vez a eleita foi uma blogger sueca, Angelica Blick, de apenas 21 anos e com um estilo invejável.
Esta sueca de cabelo loiro platinado e um bronze de surfista combina peças com grande habilidade, criando looks que variam entre o clean e sofisticado e um estilo mais grunge.
Definitivamente um blog que recomendo seguir diariamente e que vos vai encher de ideias para combinações com peças que já têm em casa.

To start of the month of August in a high note nothing better than to introduce you a new "Style Crush" here on my blog.
This time the chosen one is a Swedish blogger, Angelica Blick, with just 21 years old and owner of a coveted style.
This platinum blonde Swedish girl with a surfer tan combines pieces with great skill, putting together outfits that range between clean and sophisticated and a grungier, edgier style.
Definitely a blog I recommend to follow on a daily basis and that will fill you with plenty of ideas for combinations with items you already have in your closet.

Transparent Clutch DIY

Em seguimento do meu post de há uns uns tempos atrás sobre carteiras transparentes, que podem ver aqui, hoje deixo-vos aqui mais um DIY do blog "a pair and a spare".
Este blog está repleto de inspiração para quem gosta de DIY, eu confesso que sou um pouco preguiçosa, mas sem dúvida que algumas das suas ideias me deixam com imensa vontade de pegar numa tesoura, tecido... e começar a trabalhar. E esta foi uma delas.

In a follow up of my post from June about transparent bags, that you can see here, today I share with you another amazing DIY from the blog "a pair and a spare".
This blog is full of inspiration for those of you who love DIY's, I have to say I'm a little lazy, but there's no doubt some of the ideas in there make me want to pick up a pair of scissors, fabric... and get to work. And this is one of them.
I hope you like it.

How to do it?

You need:
- A big rectangle of clear PVC. Mine was around 3mm thick
- 5 round top studs with screws
- A pen
- Scissors
- Multi hole punch
- A ruler
- An A1 piece of white paper or cardboard

1. Draw the template onto your paper - following the measurements you see below. Click here for a bigger
    version. Note that the image itself is indicative and not to scale. The measurements are approximate
    because I think you can make it a little bigger or smaller or give it a different shape if you want, it's just
    about trimming it to suit you, but this template will give you the general structure.

2. Cut your template out and then use some tape to stick it on your pvc.

3. Cut your pvc, using the template as a guide.

4. Remove the template from the pvc.

5. Fold the corners over like an envelope, folding the sides in first, then the bottom, and then lastly the top
    flap.

6. Decide where you want to put your stud beads to secure the envelope shape. I have put little coloured 

    circles on the template to give you an idea of where the holes should go for the studs. Use the hole 

    puncher to make holes relative to the size of the screw in the stud bead. 

                                 

7. Push the screw through from the underneath and then screw the top on

8. For the lower holes, make the top hole first and then mark with a pen the inside hole. Open up the bag to
    make the inside hole.

9. Once all the holes are done - close the bag to work out where to put the stud that will act as a latch.

10. Mark with a pen and then use the hole punch to put a hole in the underside of the opening. Thread the stud bead through the single underneath layer, and then put another hole in the flap to be used to secure the opening by pushing the hole over the stud.

Now you just have to put what you want inside!

A nova musa de Alexander Wang para a sua nova video-campanha de T by Alexander Wang é, nada mais nada menos, a rainha do rap Azealia Banks.
Não é uma grande surpresa já que ela foi o seu par para o Met Ball, mas o video vale a pena ver, sem dúvida. Ao som de "Van Vogue" Azealia Banks canta, dança e contagia com a sua incessante energia, enquanto usa ajustados crop tops ao estilo dos anos 90.
E vocês gostam?

Alexander Wang's new muse for his new video-campaign for T by Alexander Wang is rap queen Azealia Banks.
This collaboration comes as no surprise since she was Alexander's date for the Met Ball, but the video is definitely worth watching. To the beat of "Van Vogue" Azealia Banks sings, dances and contaminates with her incessant energy, while wearing fitting "90-esque" crop tops.

Today I'm going to share with you my new article for Nstyle Magazine.  

Carine Roitfeld não deixa de surpreender. Depois da sua saída da Vogue Paris, foram inúmeras as colaborações com marcas, designers e fotógrafos, incluindo o fabuloso livro e exposição em conjunto com Karl Lagerfeld, da Chanel “The Little Black Jacket”, até que há uns meses atrás anunciou o lançamento da sua nova revista, CR Fashion Book.

Esta revista bianual será lançada dia 13 de Setembro deste ano, uma data muito aguardada por todos os interessados na Moda.

Roitfeld promete uma revista sempre irreverente e diferente das restantes publicações e, é isso mesmo que podemos ver na primeira fotografia da tão antecipada revista. Fotografada por Sebastian Faena, a modelo Juliet Ingleby aparece num cemitério usando apenas um véu cor de lavanda a flutuar com o vento e acessórios vermelhos, seguida por três modelos ao verdadeiro estilo viúvas-negras, uma imagem provocante que só poderia vir da mente da ex editora da Vogue Paris.

Resta esperar por Setembro para ver o que mais nos trará de novo este génio da moda, Carine Roitfeld.

Carine Roitfeld never seizes to amaze. After her depart from Vogue Paris, there were numerous collaborations with brands, designers and photographers, including the fabulous book and exhibition alongside Karl Lagerfeld, for Chanel "The Little Black Jacket", until a few months ago she announced the launch of her new magazine, CR Fashion Book.
This semi-annual magazine will be launched on September 13th, this year, a date anxiously awaited by everyone who's interested in fashion.
Roitfeld promises a magazine that's always edgy and different from other publications and, that's exactly what we can see on the first photo from the much anticipated magazine. Shot by Sebastian Faena, model Juliet Ingleby appears on a graveyard wearing only a flowy lavender veil and  red accessories, followed closely by three minions styled as the black widows, a provocative image that could only come from the mind of the ex Vogue Paris editor-in-chief.
Now we only have to wait for September to see what else will this fashion genius that is Carine Roitfeld will bring new.
