Estes ultimos dias tenho estado entre Madrid e Algarve em trabalho, entre frio e chuva e sol e calor.

Claro que a minha preferência recai sobre os ultimos daí o meu post de hoje, repleto de imagens que me fazem lembrar as minhas 2 estações preferidas, Primavera Verão.

Um post rápido, aproveitando o dia de folga que amanhã (sim, Domingo) já estou de volta ao trabalho.

These last few days I've been between Madrid and Algarve, between cold and rain and sun and hot weather.

Of course my preference lays on the last 2 hence today's post, filled with images that remind me of mu two favourite seasons, Spring and Summer.

Just a quick post, taking advantage of my day off since tomorrow (yes, Sunday), I'm back to work.

Já há algum tempo que não venho aqui partilhar algo novo convosco, entre visitas a Lisboa, Amsterdão e muito trabalho o tempo e, confesso, a vontade de me sentar e escrever aqui alguma coisa não têm sido muitas.

No entanto, não podia deixar passar a noite de Oscars em branco.

It's been a while since I last came here to share something with you, between visits to Lisbon and Amsterdam and a lot of work, the time and, if I must be honest, the will to sit down and write here haven't been much lately.

A faltar menos de um mês para os Oscars, a tarefa de ver os filmes nomeados para esta entrega de prémios torna-se difícil em tão pouco tempo.

Todos os anos tento ver todos os filmes nomeados para melhor filme e este não é excepção.

Dos 9 filmes nomeados, já risquei 3, tendo ainda uma longa lista para percorrer até dia 24 de Fevereiro.

The Oscars are now less than a month away, and the task that I have in hand of seeing all the nominated films in such short time is proving quite difficult I have to say.

Every year I try to watch all the movies nominated for best picture at least and this year is no exception.

From the 9 nominees I already checked 3, which still leaves me with a very long list to check until February 24th.

Until then I'm sharing with you a little review of each movie I saw for now: Les Miserables, Silver Linings Playbook and Argo.

As coleções Resort 2013 não param de surgir, e hoje vou falar-vos de uma das minhas favoritas até agora.
Uma temporada que normalmente nos transporta a sítios exóticos, repleta de peças frescas e a chamar o Verão mas que este ano, com a coleção de Phillip Lim, nos leva para um ambiente mais citadino e puramente urbano, mais adequado a um "city break" que a um "resort".
A pele, que tem sido material recorrente em muitas das coleções Resort 2013, surge em jumpsuits simplesmente irresistíveis.
A inspiração floral é visível nos inúmeros estampados, e misturada com o estilo prático e moderno do designer, formam uma combinação perfeita.
Coleção ideal para este tempo incerto que parece ter vindo para ficar.


The Resort 2013 collections are still coming, and today I''m going to talk to you about one of my favorites until now.
A season that usually transports us to exotic places, filled with fresh and summery pieces, but that this year, with Pillip Lim's collection, takes us to a more city-like and purely urban environment, more suited for a city break than a resort.
Leather, which has been one of the hit fabrics for many collections for Resort 2013, appears in irresistible jumpsuits.
The floral inspiration is clear on the numerous prints, and mixed with the Phillip Lim's practical and modern style, make a perfect combination.

Pirelli Calendar photographed by photojournalist Steve McCurry

O famoso calendário Pirelli, conhecido pelas suas fascinantes fotografias de nus artísticos, revelou o fotógrafo para a edição de 2013, uma grande surpresa, sem dúvida.

Normalmente fotografado pelos melhores fotógrafos de moda como Herb Ritts,  Peter Lindbergh, Patrick Demarchelier e, o mais recente, Mario Sorrenti, o calendário do próximo ano muda um pouco de direção sob a objetiva do fotojornalista Steve McCurry.

Conhecido por captar a famosa imagem da National Geographic em 1985 da rapariga afegã de olhos verdes que impressionou o mundo inteiro, McCurry revela que pretende retratar uma mulher que é sexy sem estar nua, definitivamente uma visão diferente das anteriores.

Resta esperar para ver o resultado no final deste ano e quem terão sido as musas escolhidas pelo fotógrafo.

The famous Pirelli Calendar, known for its fascinating photos of artistic nudes, revealed the photographer for the 2013 edition, a big surprise, there's no doubt in that.

Usually photographed by the best fashion photographers like Herb Ritts, Peter Lindbergh, Patrick Demarchelier and, the most recent, Mario Sorrenti, next year's calendar is headed in a new direction under the lens of photojournalist Steve McCurry.

Known for capturing the iconic National Geographic image in 1985, of the green eyed Afghan girl that impressed the whole world, McCurry says he wants to "portray women who are sexy without being naked", definitely a different vision from the ones before.

Now we just have to wait to see the result in the end of this year and who the photographer chose as his muses.
